Our town Chicago

So we got to go to Chicago for our good friends Ben and Laura's wedding.  It was our first time in Chicago and we actually love Chicago it is such a fun family oriented city and we really enjoyed ourselves.  Here are a few things we got to do while we were there.
We got to get up really early both there and back and when I say early I mean early like 2:30 a.m. Our kids were such troopers they were the best kids ever.  Ryler was excited and such a good sport about everything and Greyson never cried he is the best baby ever.
This was Greysons first airplane ride.  He did awesome!
 Ryler on the airplane
We got to ride a subway.  It was really hard riding the subway with so much stuff you should have seen us we had two huge things of luggage, a duffle bag, a double stroller, a tuxedo, and two kids with a train station full of people but we made it!!!!!!
One of the first things we did was go on a boat tour so we rode an airplane a train and a boat all in one day Ryler loved it.  The boat tour was an awesome way to see the city.  You get to go under a ton of bridges and see all of the cool buildings. are favorites were these corn cob buildings they were pretty cool.  Not to mention that we were really hot we have never sweat that much not that you wanted to know that but it was pretty hot and we walked everywhere.
We saw this window washer and thought that this has to be one of the scariest jobs there is.  He looked like it didnt even bother him he was just a flying washing the windows and he was really high up.
This was while we were walking to Navy Pier which is awesome but I didnt get very good pictures of that so I left them out but it is really fun.

This was after walking all day we got to sit down and eat a deep dish chicago pizza at Ginos it was soooooo good.

We also got to see this awesome thing called the Bean it looks like a giant jelly bean. We took a ton of pictures but theres not enought time to post them all.

What is Chicago without a little Michael Jordan
Rylers favorite store was of course the disney store and him and mike had love at first sight so of course we bought him.
This was a cool Mcdonalds.  I've seen this on tv before but it was cool to see it in real life.
We got to eat at Rainforest Cafe.  It was really fun to eat there but Ryler was scared of the animals even though they were fake ugh it bugged us. But he liked the fish and the food so I guess that is good.

Here is a Lego Woody we saw him at the Lego store.
Our first CHICAGO DOG it was really good and MESSY!

This picture is sideways so you might get a crick in your neck looking at it but it is the second tallest building in Chicago It is called the John Hancock tower and yep we went up on the 96th floor.  Our ears popped a bunch of times on the ride up but it was a beautiful sight.

Here is lake Michigan from the top and we saw a bunch of swimming pools on peoples roofs it was so cool to see.
And for the real reason we got to do all of this in the first place is Ben and Laura (the bride and groom)  They had a beautiful wedding everything was gorgeous and glad we got to be there.
This is kind of a blury picture and doesn't do there wedding justice cause it was sooooo nice.  I didn't get a picture of the bride and groom on their wedding day it was kind of crazy and they had a lot of people to talk to but Laura looked gorgeous and Ben looked very handsome.  So congrats to them!!!

Ryler also was a little stud muffin and he was very good throughout most of the wedding events!  Everyone kept commenting on how well behaved our kids were so I guess we got lucky on this trip.

So we had the best time in Chicago and want to go back again it was so fun.  We are so happy for Ben and Laura

introducing........

So as you all know we have the cutest new little baby in our family.  His name is Greyson Grant Mantell he was born June 6 at 2:19 P.M.. He weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz.  and he was 19 1/2 inches long.  He has long dark hair (which explains the horrible heartburn I had)! I never expected any of my kids to have hair.  I thought I was going to have all bald babies.  So we were shocked when he came with this head of hair.  It is the softest hair ever and I love running my fingers through it!!! He is a very good baby.  He hardly ever cries.  He is a pretty good sleeper at nights for being a new born baby.  He has long fingers and toes and cute chubby cheeks. We love having him in our family a ton!!!!!! Ryler has been the best big brother.

This time was a totally different experience this time around we got to schedule a c-section.  We got to the hospital and called on the little phone and waited for a nurse to come and get us.  Just so you know I do not miss those last pregnancy days.  This time everything happened so much faster which I was extremely happy about. No 18 hours a labor. They took us in and got us already for the big moment.  Sean loved his outfit so much.  He especially likes the shoes and the collar on the one piece suit.

and then here is me don't we look fancy!

Then just a short time after we get to see and hold our beautiful little baby boy.  It is the best feeling ever to meet them for the first time and hear their little cry.  It is awesome. This time I didn't get sick or shaky like last time I was so glad.  I felt like I was more aware of what was going on and I was actually smiling the whole time. The surgery went well. (what a relief) Then we get a long stay at the hospital which I don't mind.  I actually like the extra time at the hospital other than being away from Ryler that long I missed him but it is nice to get to rest and just get to hang out with sean and get to hold my new baby and not to mention the unlimited grape juice and italian ice!

I just have to say Sean is the best husband and dad ever! He is so supportive.  He has helped me so much with everything he has helped me clean, cook, run errands everywhere.  He plays withe ryler for hours. Plus he works very hard at school and at his job on top of everything else.
He would seriousely do anything for me and our kids not to mention Ryler absolutely adores him and I know all of our kids will be the same way.

Our first family picture with us four. Sean says we are real family now that we have two kids.

           I love my boys!

Seans parents and brother came to see us. They were a huge help to us.  Ryler got to spend some time with them and he got taken very good care of so thanks to them for all of their help.

Ryler liked the hospital and all the stuff to see he really liked wearing the masks, helping me eat my food and drinking out of my mug.

 The cutest kids ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ryler has been such a good help to me.  He helps me with Greyson so much.  He loves to hold him and even though he doesn't really like  to touch the dirty diapers he is always quick to throw them away for me. Ryler is 3 years old now and he is getting so big.  He loves to play every sport there is.  He loves baseball and can hit a ball like a champ (without the tee).  He loves to watch sports on tv and he thinks he is Kevin Durrant.  He loves to swim and has been going swimg almost everyday.  He was on a soccer team called the monkey and he was very good he scored five goals in one game. He loves to go to the park and he makes friends wherever he goes.  He is very social. He loves to go to church. He likes to watch for bugs with me. He is very smart and loves to read books and he memorizes them.  He is such a good boy and Greyson is very lucky to have him as an older brother.

My mom and brother Trent got to come out and see us. It was a very fun week.  They got to play  pretty much every sport there is with Ryler.  We loved  having them come out and wished they could have stayed longer

So far we love being a family of four and we are all doing really good. We love having Greyson in our family so much and so glad he is finally here.
