New York City

Yes we actually made it to New York City and we had such a fun time. We got to see so many things. It was an awesome experience to get to see all that goes on in New York. There was a huge protest going on and there are so many people and everything is just scrunched together but it was awesome we got to do so many things in just a few days but it was so fun to get to see all the tall buildings and I have never seen so many taxis. We got to go to China town and see what that was all about. It was a very fun trip. We were definanatley worn out when we got home but it was all worth it we had a great time.

We went to Jones beach so finally made it to both sides of the ocean
Ryler LOVES the beach it was so cold and he was running around with his
shoes off and he didn't want to leave it was a ton of fun. I love the beach too

This picture is at Port Jefferson it is beautiful there andwe got to eat delicious pizza and some clam chowder that was amazing

Whats been going on

These pictures kind of are out of order but still explain
what we have been up to lately.
We have been going to the Childrens museum
which is so fun for kids and to the park a lot with
our friends

We were in our first hurricane luckily it wasn't
too bad we weren't the ones without power so
we were lucky but there was some flooding .
Ryler and I missed the earthquake cause we were in Utah

We got a special visit from Seans sister
Katrina and her cute baby McKinley
We were all waiting for Shaun to get off the
plane. I flew in just before him and my aunt
Linda and aunt Debbie came which was a fun
surprise.

Ryler got to sit in the cockpit in the airplane he
was such a good boy on the plane!
Sean sitting by Aunt June (family joke)
Finally getting to see Shaunie we really missed him

These are pictures of Carters Mountain this is
where you get to go pick apples and drink yummy
apple cider it is so much fun to go here and really pretty
We got to go with Seans brother Peter and his wife Ashley
We had fun even though it was pretty muddy

Here is Ryler on Halloween going trick or treating he LOVES LOVES LOVES Halloween we had a good time with him and he got a ton of candy.
Here is our pumpkins that we carved mine is the Rylers is the scary face, Seans is the deformed spider and mine is the one eyed monster.
We have been having some fun. We also have
a new cousin Brett and Alyse had their
2nd baby Maya she is adoreable but I don't have any
pictures on my computer. W also had our
5th year anniversary on October 6th I can't believe
it has already been 5 years and Sean turned the big 28 on
November 1st but I don't have any pictures of these things.
And we are really really looking forward to going to New York City
tomorrow with Seans family we can't wait. So hopefully we'll
get some good pictures of our trip so we can show everyone.

Our big change and it wasn't a diaper!!

WE"VE MOVED ACROSS COUNTRY AAAHHHH
I explain more below

Our jeep was shipped on this big truck.

This is seans cousin and her boyfriend
we had a great time with them
and Aunt Linda and Uncle Art
Vacationing in Williamsburg.
Hanging by the pool by Alison my very missed
sister in law

This is one of the many hotels we stayed in
To keep Ryler motivated to get in the car we
kept telling him that we were going to a new
pool I think he thinks that was the whole purpose
of the trip was to keep finding new pools. HA HA
This is a bad picture but it was in Kentucky

Some of you may or may not know but we are beginning a two year adventure we just moved to Richmond Virginia so Sean could continue his schooling for social work so I definately had mixed feelings about this I did not want to leave my family and friends and the comfort of no humiditity along with a lot of things everything was just going great in Utah but we knew it was for the our best interest. We did have a few good pointers for coming to Virginia. This is where Sean grew up and his family is here so that is good to see them and we get to see a lot of people that we haven't seen for a long time. So we drove out here a couple weeks ago and a ginormous heat wave followed us the entire way so it was not comfortable but Ryler did surprisingly well for driving 36 hours across country we got to see a lot of fun things and we made it just in time for a vacation with Seans family at Busch Gardens (so fun) and Water Country USA (also very fun it is like seven peaks but 99% bigger and better). We are now a little bit settled in and I have met some awesome friends whose husbands are also in School that have kids around Rylers age so he has made some friends too so that helps me think that it is going to be a very fun two years I have only known them for a couple weeks and they have been so welcoming and so nice it makes me feel a whole lot better about everything. So we are doing well the heat wave has passed and I got to see some lighting bugs and a red cardinal those are a couple of my favorite things here so thats good. Sean starts school in a couple of weeks so we are just aniticipating that and next week I am going to Utah to see my brother that has been on his mission. So I am stoked about that but wish Sean could come with. (It is a bummer for him not to be able to come) but for everyone back in Utah we miss you but we are doing good.

I just had to post this picture I took. I think it is so precious. This pretty much describes my little boy and much of our daily activities. Ryler LOVES sports. What we do all day is play baseball, basketball, soccer, golf, football and (kind of a sport) jumping on the trampoline. I love this kid he is so funny and he keeps us laughing.

here are a few of my favorite things

So I am starting this segment of my favorite things I am copying my sis- in-law Alison it is just to remind me how many good things I have in my life or things I am grateful for so here it goes.

1. You might think that I am dorky but I think this bike is so cute andI have been wanting this for a really long time and even though I don't have it yet it is still one of my favorite things. I just can't decide what color to get purple, sea foam green or baby blue. Any suggestions?
2. Glitter toes just got them done again today.
3. I of course have to put my hubby and little Ryler
4. PRALINES AND CREAM ICE CREAM YUMMY!

5. This swimming suit I bought I can't wait to wear it. I hope it looks as good on me as it does on her. Probably not but oh well it is still cute.

Swimming in St. George

Sorry this is after the pictures but I was to lazy to fix it so anyway this is what we have been up to in the last little bit. Ryler turned the big 2 he is getting so big. We took him to his favorite place CHILIS he loves it so if we went there it was an overall good birthday for him. We also just went to St. George with my brother Brett and his wife Alyse and their little girl Adrie. Ryler and Adrie loved being together at least I know Ryler loved being with her they got along so well and they had fun swimming and going down the big slides! So that was fun and we had a great time getting away to warmer weather. Overall we have been doing good. Ryler is getting so big. He is talking so much and is so funny he makes us laugh so much he is learning so much. Some of his favorite things are and in his words......Mickey, Princess and the beast(beauty and the beast), cars, Shoot the ball (sports of any kind he is obsessed), Chucky cheese. Some other things he likes to do besides these things are jumping on the trampoline, going on walks to see the trains that come by our neighborhood, can't forget Nursery, taking baths, listen and dancing to music and playing games on the Ipod, eating breakfast and the list could go on. Seans Softball has started. Always a fun time of year for us. So overall it has been going good for us.
